Weaver Lake Elementary has a rigorous curriculum aligned with both Minnesota state and national standards. Value-added projects are real world investigations with practical applications and achievable outcomes.
For 57 years, Osseo Area Schools current and former employees and community members have put on an annual variety show to raise money for scholarships to assist graduating students in their post-secondary plans. Some of the performers have been involved since the original show in 1967 and continue to come back year after year. This year, the performers invite the community to come and check out The Big Game at “Wastebasket Revue: LVII” at an upcoming show.
A partial solar eclipse is expected in the Twin Cities metro area from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, April 8. An uncommon midday darkness will be experienced during this time as the sun is blocked by the moon.

Osseo Area Schools will host a Spring Career Expo Tuesday, March 26, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Zanewood Community: A STEAM School.
All students at Weaver Lake: a Science, Math & Technology School who read over 1,000 minutes during this year’s school Readathon fundraiser got a special reward March 6, when Minnesota author Matthew Schufman came to give a presentation, read books and do an illustration activity with the standout readers.
Magnet Schools of America (MSA) recently released their list of 2024 Merit Schools, and two of Osseo Area Schools’ magnet schools have received recognition.
